Piano recital handbill

This print and on-line promotional piece is for a piano recital of the 3 Bs, Bach Beethoven and Brahms. The headline type is based on the proportions of the black keys of a piano and appears in the illustration as three black keys that spell 3BS.

Alien Landscape

Nature does randomness much better than humans. No matter how much we humans try some order or pattern always introduces itself into our attempts at creating random-looking imagery, for example, landscapes or the arrangement of random beads in a photograph.

To create the ground plane of this image a black and white portrait of two faces was used to generate a mesh which was then distorted and textured to look like sand dunes.

Editorial Illustration

This hybrid uses both 3-D modelling and traditional digital illustration techniques to illustrate the article, "Northern Development. Raising the Bar." The finished piece was used on the cover of Aboriginal Times magazine.
