'The Suit'

Here we get to do everything to a 'talking head' that we have always wanted to - put him in his shorts, really bad hair day, bad clothes and big hiking boots. You would never know that we used only one actor. Doesn't he finally look slick? Which is the point - in the wrong hands a vision can turn into a nightmare.

How was this done?

This video was produced as a tester for our new bleeding-edge desktop video production hardware. Those aren't dissolves, they're morphs. Norman directs and plays piano for the soundtrack. Philippe Martrin-Morice, camera. Shot on S-VHS. Script by Louise Aird. Hair and Make-up by Cori Creed.

Produced in 1994 on a Macintosh PowerMac 8100/80, 500Mb RAM, 4 GIG RAID Array, Radius VideoVision Studio digital video capture, Roland RD500 keyboard, Studio 3 MIDI interface. Edited in Adobe Premiere 4.2, Video Fusion 1.0, Adobe Photoshop 5.5, Strata Studio Pro 2.5, Logic 2.0, SoundEdit 16.
