Medium format images are shot on film with a Hasselblad 500C.

Close up or macro photography is accomplished with Proxar lenses and extension bellows.

The Zeiss lens is what gives the resulting images their beauty.

The Hasselblad is extremely durable and entirely mechanical, with no electronics and therefore no batteries required.

This makes it the ideal camera to use in extreme environments. In fact, the Hasselbald 500 is the camera the Apollo astronauts took with them to the moon.
