For example, a supplier will only be able to download a file and not edit it in any way; different users can be made responsible for different brands within an organization; some files can be made available to the general public, some can remain under tight security.

Brand assets can be created once and updated as the graphics are changed, for example, a pakage may receive a flash for a special promo but the product remains uncahnged. The application of the flash to the package would be recorded in history along with the individual that made the change and when.

The images on the site are positioned using css and xhtml. The layout is accomplished without using tables for positioning elements.

CSS and XHTML allow a fluid layout that resizes according to the users preferences, as do the text and images if desired. The user has control over how the site appears to them.

Why use xhtml and css? Accessibility. User controlled experience. This site is displayed in the same size window with the type at various sizes. This is one of the main benefits of css, the user can control how the web page displays.

This user-based control of how the design plays is to me, more important than having the type as a certain size of other design consideration that cripples a web user experience,-- the text is too small for legibility, the window does not fit in the users' browser configuration and the user has to scroll to get the message.
